Delicious Italian Meatballs
Tired of the same old pasta? Switch it up with this recipe for Italian meatballs. This is a great recipe to jazz up those boring noodles. With only three steps and a 45-minute cook time, it is a perfect after-work or weekend meal.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground chuck
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons Prego meat flavored sauce
- 1 pinch garlic powder, to taste
- 1 pinch oregano, to taste
- 1 pinch basil, to taste
- parsley flakes
- 1 dash thyme
- 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
- Italian bread crumbs
Instructions
- Mix ingredients together.
- Roll in 1-1/2" diameter and put into a pot of spaghetti sauce (use the rest of the jar of Prego).
- Cook for 45 minutes on low to medium heat.

I made these with a few adjustments. I omitted parm ch (not crazy about it) & used 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning instead of thyme & oregano & substitutted 2tsp minced dried onion for fresh. I also made my own fresh reg bread crumbs. I baked them for 25min @400 & then added to my sauce. These are the absolute best meatballs EVER & could be easily adapted for other uses! They were so nice & tender & my 5yr old vegetarian son even ate them! A MUST TRY for sure! :) (I adapted recipe for what I had on hand...easily done! )

these meatballs are deliscious! I left out the parm cheese & forgot to add spag sauce lol & made my own fresh reg bread crumbs. Also, I baked my mballs for 25min @400 & then added to sauce. They are tender & really really good! :)
