All Purpose Meat Marinade

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic-crushed
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced ginger root
  • 2 t black pepper (or more if you like)

Instructions

Combine soy sauce, orange juice, honey and oil. Add onion, garlic, ginger and pepper. Using a large bag or other container, marinate London Broil for 12-24 hrs. Drain then grill. Boneless chicken breasts should marinate for 1-3 hours, then drain and grill. Pheasant, quail or Cornish hens should marinate for 6-8 hrs, drain and then smoke slowly until done.
