Marinade
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Liquid smoke flavoring
- 1 cup water
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a pint sized jar. Close tightly and shake vigorously, making sure that the garlic and onion powders are thoroughly mixed. They tend to lump, so shake hard. Place 4 8-12 ounce steaks into a one gallon Ziploc. bag. Pour marinade into bag over steaks. Before closing, add enough hot water to cover steaks completely. Close bag and let sit for at least 30 minutes. Use on beef steaks, pork chops, chicken, roast.
