Wine Marinade

Use this white-wine marinade for fish, shellfish or chicken. With shallots and a touch of Dijon mustard, you get just the right zing.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 3 large shallots, minced
  • 2 large garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 10 peppercorns, crushed

Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Makes about 1-1/2 cups. For poultry, fish or shellfish.
