Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup pecan halves
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate pieces
Instructions

Combine sugar, corn syrup and salt in a 1 1/2 quart glass bowl or casserole dish. Microwave on HIGH for 4 minutes.

Stir in pecans. Microwave on HIGH for 4 minutes or until lightly browned, stirring every 2 minutes.

Add butter, vanilla and chocolate; stir until chocolate is melted.

Pour mixture onto greased baking sheet, spreading as thin as possible, using 2 forks.
- Cool and break into small pieces.
