Six Minute Baked Beans
This quick recipe for supper is perfect as a go-to meal on the go or as a side dish for a fast dinner. An inexpensive and quick recipe like this one is always clutch.
Notes
You make this ahead of time, standing will develop the curry flavour, just re-heat when required. Serve on toast, or as a taco filling with grated cheese.

Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon oil or butter
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup peanuts
- 1 teaspoon mild curry powder
- 16 ounce can baked beans
Instructions
- Put onion, oil and curry powder in a medium-sized casserole dish and cook in the microwave, covered on high for 2 minutes.
- Add the raisins, nuts and baked beans. Reduce power to 50 percent and cook for 3 - 4 minutes or until hot.
