Lebanese Hushawa

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 pound ground lamb
  • 2 cup rice
  • 2 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon allspice
  • salt
  • and pepper
  • water

Instructions

Melt butter in saucepan, brown lamb. Add rice and saute for a few minutes. Add cumin and allspice. Add salt and pepper to taste. Then cover with water. Let come to a boil, turn then simmer until rice is done. Serve with roasted chicken.
