Amaretto and Almond Muffins
Sliced Almonds and Amaretto liquor make this a great recipe. These muffins make for a great breakfast meal when you have company over. You can bake them in no time.
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup sour milk
- 3 tablespoons melted butter or margarine
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup amaretto liqueur
- 1 cup sliced almonds
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 cups flour
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400F and grease muffin pans.
- Put the first five ingredients into a bowl and mix well, then add the remaining ingredients and blend until just mixed.
- Put into pans and bake for 15-20 minutes.
