Alfredo Sauce
Ingredients
- 15 ounces can canelli beans (white) rinsed and drained
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/4 cup grated cheese (parmesan or romano)
- 2 cups your favorite thinly sliced vegetables
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh oregano
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp pepper garlic/lemon
Instructions
Process beans with milk until smooth (blender or food processor). Transfer bean/milk mixture to warm skillet. Stir in remaining ingredients, add vegetables, simmer until vegetables are tender, 10 to 15 minutes. Pour over your favorite pasta or ravioli.
