    Pasta with Carbonara Sauce

    Ingredients

    • 1/4 lb. pork sausage
    • 1/4 lb. cooked ham, sliced thin
    • 4-6 Tablespoons butter (not margarine)
    • 1/2 lb. cooked vermicelli noodles
    • 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
    • 3 well beaten eggs
    • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
    • freshly ground black pepper

    Instructions

    Brown sausage in skillet with 1/2 the ham (about 10 minutes). Add remaining ham and keep warm until ready to serve. Add meat to drained, cooked pasta, butter, parsley, eggs and about 1/2 cup cheese. Toss gently to coat and add some pepper to taste. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Serves: 4
