Peppino's Sauce
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 5 tablespoon butter
- 2 large garlic cloves crushed
- 1 tablespoon capers
- 3 fresh tomatoes chopped
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh mint chopped
- 1/2 pound calamari, cleaned and chopped fine
- 1 pound bay scallops chopped
- 1 pound green mussels, steamed and chopped
- 1/2 pound chopped clams
Instructions
Saute garlic in olive oil and butter. Add chopped tomatoes and parsley, capers and mint. Simmer 10 minutes. Add seafood and simmer 8 to 10 minutes. Add plenty of parsley and hot pepper flakes. Serve over Spaghetti squash or Cappalli.
