Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs and Italian Sausage
Ingredients
- 6 14.5-oz cans tomatoes, pureed in blender
- 3 14.5-oz cans tomato sauce
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 1 whole clove garlic, chopped
- 3 tablespoon basil
- 3 tablespoon oregano
- 4 oz. (1/2 jar) Parmesan Cheese
- 1 cup port wine
- 2 tablespoon sugar
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
Combine all ingredients and cook on low. Meatballs 3 lbs. ground chuck 3 eggs 2 cups Italian bread crumbs 1 cup Parmesan Cheese Salt and pepper to taste Combine ingredients with hands - form meatballs and add to sauce. Add some good Italian Sausage. Cook all ingredients on low for 4 to 6 hours. Let cool then refrigerate overnight. Next day scoop grease from top and warm for dinner. serves 6-8
