Best Bow Ties
Ingredients
- 6 cup cooked bow ties
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup diced fresh parsley or 1 Tbs. dried
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano or 1/4 tsp. dried
- Juice of one lemmon
- 1/2 cup of feta cheese
- 1/2 cup shelled pistachio nut or other salted roasted nuts
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- salt to taste
Instructions
Cook pasta in water with a tsp. of salt and drain. Mix all herbs, oil, lemmon juice in cup and evenly pour over pasta. Salt to taste. Gently stir past while it is still warm so all the flavors are blended. Sprinkle feta, olives and nuts over top. Garnish with a sprig of parsley. If you like even more flavor add more lemmon juice.
