Pasta with Prosciutto
Ingredients
- 4 quarts (16 cups) water
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced parsley
- 1 pound fettuccine
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives
- 5 or 6 slices prosciutto, torn into 1-inch pieces
Instructions
Bring water to a boil. Meanwhile, melt butter in bowl in microwave. Stir in cream. Add cheese; stir well. Stir in garlic and parsley. When water boils, cook fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain. Toss with cream mixture, olives and prosciutto. Makes 4 servings.
