Christmas Morning Baked Donuts

Ingredients
- 2 cup buttermilk (pancake mix) baking mix
- 2 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
Instructions
- Combine baking mix, sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, milk and egg; beat vigorously for 20 strokes.
- Keep melted butter and 1/2 cup sugar in separate bowls on the side for dipping.
- Preheat oven 400 degrees F. Lightly grease cooking sheet.
- Round up the dough on lightly floured board, knead 5 times.
- Roll 1/2 inch thick - cut with floured doughnut cutter.
- Twist doughnut to make a figure-eight. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Immediately after baking dip in melted butter then into sugar let cool.
