Ingredients

  • 1 pound butter puff pastry
  • 1/2 cup plum preserve
  • 1 cup diced plums
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoon milk
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Defrost the pastry overnight in refrigerator.

  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  3. Unroll the pastry and cut it to even circles. You can do so by using plate as a guide, place the plate on top of the pastry and cut it with the knife. Amount of circles will be up to you and it depends on the size of your plate.

  4. Cover all the pastries with even amounts of preserve.

  6. In bowl mix plumes, walnuts, vanilla extract, cinnamon and cornstarch.

  7. Divide the filling evenly between the tarts.

  8. Take about 1 inch edge of the pastry and bring it up to cover the filling.

  9. Brush the upper edges with milk and pop to oven for 25-30 minutes or until puffed and edges look golden brown.

  10. Cool them and drizzle with powdered sugar just before serving.
