    Apple Tart

    Ingredients

    • 2-3 baking apples, peeled and thinly sliced
    • 1 tsp cinnamon
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1 tblsp flour
    • 1 tblsp unsalted butter
    • 1 tblsp lemon juice (optional)
    • ready made pie crust

    Instructions

    Pre heat oven to 425 degrees. Unfold pie crust on round baking sheet or pizza pan. Press any broken seams together. Allow to come to room temperature. In large bowl, combine apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon and lemon juice (if using). Toss to coat apples. Leaving a 1 inch border all around, arrange apples on pie crust. Fold boarder around apples, overlapping all around. Cut unsalted butter in to small pieces and toss over apples. Bake in pre-heated oven 15 minutes, then lower heat to 400 degrees and bake an additional 12 - 15 minutes, or until apples are soft and crust is golden brown.
