Bag It Up Apple Pie

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 5 apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/8 pound (1/4 stick) unsalted butter
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
- 1 large brown grocery bag
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Combine granulated sugar, all-purpose flour, and cinnamon in a large bowl. Mix in sliced apples and stir to coat.
- Put mixture in an unbaked pie crust and sprinkle with lemon juice.
- In a bowl combine brown sugar and all-purpose flour and cut butter into mixture until crumbly. Sprinkle over top of apples.
- Place pie pan in large grocery bag. Fold over front and pin shut. Bake until edges are brown and pie is bubbling.
