    Blackberry Cobbler

    Ingredients

    • 4 cups fresh blackberries
    • 1/4 cup flour
    • 1 3/4 cup sugar
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
    • juice of 1/2 a lemon
    • 1 cup packaged biscuit mix
    • 2 tablespoons sugar
    • 1/2 cup milk or water
    • 1 1/2 teaspoon sugar

    Instructions

    Butter an 8x8 baking pan. Mix blackberries, flour, sugar, salt, cinnamon and lemon juice. Pour into baking dish. Dot with butter. Mix biscuit mix, 2 tablespoons sugar and milk or water. Pour over fruit mixture. Top with 1 1/2 teaspoon sugar. Bake at 425 F uncovered for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
