Blackberry Cobbler
Ingredients
- 4 cups blackberries
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 2 cups flour
- 4 Tbsp shortening
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsps baking powder
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1 1/4 cup milk
Instructions
Grease 9x9 baking pan. Mix filling and pour into pan. Mix crust and spread over top of filling, and sprinkle with a little more sugar. Bake at 425 (uncovered) for 40 minutes or until the crust is golden.
