    Vinegar Pie Crust

    Ingredients

    • 6 cups flour
    • 2 1/2 cups shortening
    • 2 tsps salt
    • 1 Tbsp vinegar in measuring cup, fill with water

    Instructions

    Cut the shortening into the flour with a pastry blender or two knives. Add the water in small amounts, stirring in with a fork until it looks like pie dough. Divide into balls big enough to roll into crusts. I freeze the dough in ziploc bags and when I want to make pie, take out what I need.
