Potato Pizza Dough
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 tsp sugar
- 3 tsps yeast
- 3 cups bread flour
- 1/2 cup instant potato flakes
- 1 tbs olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup warm water
Instructions
Proof water, sugar and yeast till foamy. Mix flour, potato flakes, oils and salt. Add foamed yeast to dry ingredients. Stir in warm water (could be a little more or less than half a cup) to form a non-sticky dough ball while stirring quite vigorously. Knead until it is smooth and elastic on a floured surface, adding more flour only if necessary. Let rise until it doubles in size in covered bowl or place in a floured ziplock bag and let rise overnight in the refrigerator. Punch down and use for a 10 or 12 inch pizza or as desired. Bake at 400 for 30 minutes or until done
