Cabbage with Mushrooms
Ingredients
- Pour 2 cups of water over 2 lbs sauerkraut, add 1 large chopped
- onion and 2 TBS of butter. Cook until tender. Separately, in a
- small amount of water, cook until tender 2-3 oz dried mushrooms.
- Slice mushrooms into thin strips and add to the cabbage along with
- the stock. Add some flour (1-2 tsp) to give it thickness. Season
- the cabbage with salt and pepper and cook a while longer.
