Kapusta
Ingredients
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 qts. sauerkraut
- 3 dried mushrooms (chopped)
- 3 tb.butter
Instructions
Soak mushrooms for 4 hours. Rinse and squeeze dry the sauerkraut. Chop. Cover with water. Bring to a boil. Add mushrooms and onion and cook for 1 hour. Blend in 3 tb. butter, salt and pepper to taste. Note: You may add caraway seed, apple pieces, etc.
