Krupnik, Hot Mead with Vodka
Ingredients
- 2 cups honey
- 1 cup water
- 7 whole cloves
- 12 cinnamon sticks
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 vanilla bean
- 1 fifth vodka
Instructions
Combine and heat the honey and water. Slip all the spices into cheeseclothe sack and add it to the honey mixture. Bring this to a boil, then remove it from heat. Let all the flavours blend for an hour or more. Add the vodka. Let cool and remove sack. Serve warm.
