Ingredients
- 4 3/4-inch thick butterfly pork chops, cut in half
- 2 eggs
- 4 tablespoon water
- 1 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
- 5 tablespoon oil
- 1/4 cup butter
- 8 mushrooms, sliced
- 1 (10-3/4-ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 8 ounce sour cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
- In a medium bowl, beat egg and water together. Dip pork pieces in egg mixture, then in bread crumbs. Heat oil in a pan and brown pork chops, 5 or so minutes per side. Layer in a 9x13 inch dish.
- In the same pan, melt butter and saute mushrooms until soft. Add soup, sour cream and broth and stir to combine. Pour the sauce over pork.
- Bake, covered, for 1 hour.
