Ingredients
- 4 bone-in pork chops
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 can (10.5-ounces) French Onion Soup
- 1 cup uncooked long-grain rice
- garlic powder, onion powder, to taste
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
-
Season pork chops liberally with salt and pepper. I used a little bit of onion powder and garlic powder too.
-
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and brown pork chops on each side. Just a sear, they do not have to be cooked through.
- Add soup and rice to a 13x9 baking dish and stir to combine. Arrange browned pork chops on top of rice in a single layer. Cover dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake at 375 degrees F for one hour.
