"Cretons is a classic French Canadian pork spread with a rich, creamy texture and warm spices. Traditionally enjoyed on toast for breakfast, it’s a nostalgic favorite in Quebec households. This simple recipe uses ground pork, onions, garlic, and spices, slowly simmered with milk and breadcrumbs for a smooth, flavorful spread. Makes two small ramequins, which each serve about six toasts.
