Ingredients
- 8 center cut pork chops (medium thickness)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon sage
- 4 cored tart apples, sliced into rings
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoon flour
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1/2 cup seedless raisins
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 F Degrees
- Brown the pork chops in small amount of fat in a skillet and sprinkle with salt and sage.
- Place in a casserole dish and top with the apple rings. Sprinkle with brown sugar.
- Add flour to the remaining fat in the skillet and blend.
- Add the water and vinegar and cook until thick, stirring constantly.
- Add the raisins to the vinegar mixture and then pour over chops.
- Bake for 1 hour.
