Plum Sauce Oven Spareribs

Ingredients

  • 17 ounce can purple plums
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 6 ounce can frozen lemonade concentrate
  • 1/4 cup chili sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 drops Tabasco sauce
  • 6 pound pork spareribs

Instructions

Cut spareribs into serving size portions, cover with water. Bring to boil, cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours. Drain. Puree plums. Combine pureed plums, their juice and remaining ingredients, except spareribs. Simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes. Refrigerate. Put ribs in baking pan, cover with sauce, bake at 425 F for about 1 hour. Baste often, turn at least once.
