Hamburger Jerky
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 T tenderquick
- 1/2 T accent or salt
- 1/2 T pepper
- 1 t cayenne pepper
- 1 T garlic powder
- 1 T onion powder
- 1 T chili powder
- 1/4 C A-1 sauce
- 1/4 C Worcestershire
- 2 T liquid smoke
Instructions
For 3 pounds ground meat. Crumble meat out on cookie sheet or pizza pan. Mix dry stuff and sprinkle evenly on meat. Mix wet stuff and pour evenly on meat. Mix well. Then use jerky gun or, roll meat out 1/8"-1/4" thick between Saran-Wrap, cut to size, then dry until it bends a little before it breaks. It will get drier as it cools down. This will fill 5 trays in a dehydrater.
