Cinnamon Apple Rings

Ingredients

  • 18 tart apples
  • 6 cup sugar
  • 3 cup water
  • 9 ounce pkg red cinanmon candies
  • 3 drops red food color

Instructions

Cut cored, peeled apples in rings. Combine sugar, water, cinnamon candies and food color. Bring to a boil, boil 3 minutes. Add apples to syrup, cook until transparent. Pack in hot jars. Cover with syrup. Adjust lids. Process in boiling water bath for 25 minutes.
