Purple Pea Hull Jelly

Ingredients

  • 4 c juice from cooked pea hulls
  • 5 c sugar
  • 1 pkg sure jell

Instructions

Wash pea hulls well. use as many as you wish. Cover with water. Boil until tender. Drain juice through cheesecloth. Add sure-jell to measured juice. Bring to a boil. Add sugar and bring to a boil that can't be stirred down. Boil 10 minutess. Pour into hot jars and seal.
