Oatmeal Apple Crisp
This pressure cooker recipe for oatmeal apple crisp is simply delicious. If you really want to make people happy, serve it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Yum!

Ingredients
- 4 cups apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup quick cooking oats
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup melted margarine
- 2 1/2 cups water
Instructions
- Sprinkle apples with lemon juice.
- Combine oats, flour, brown sugatr, cinnamon, salt and margarine.
- Place alternate layers of apples and oat mixture, beginning with and ending with apples, in a buttered metal bowl that fits loosely in a pressure cooker. Cover bowl with aluminum foil.
- Pour water into pressure cooker, then place the covered bowl on a rack in the pressure cooker.
- Close cover securely. Place pressure regulator on vent pipe and cook 20 minutes with pressure regulator rocking slowly. Cool cooker at once.
