    Cold Tuna Pasta Dish

    Ingredients

    • 6 ounces can chunk light tuna in spring water
    • 15 1/4 ounces can Del Monte Sweet Peas
    • 1/2 or little less of 16 oz. box shell pasta
    • 1 to 2 tablespoons mayonaise
    • salt and pepper to taste

    Instructions

Cook pasta according to directions on the box. While this is cooking, take a large bowl, open peas and drain the water out and pour into the bowl. Will open and drain very well the tuna. Pour onto the peas. When noodles have cooked, drain in collander (do not rinse in cold water). Pour on top of the peas and tuna then cover with a lid. Let stand about 5 minutes. Stir to mix. Add the mayonnaise, salt and pepper to taste, and mix to coat the pasta with mayonnaise. Refrigerate or serve right away. Variation: Can substitute a can of whole kernel corn in place of the tuna.
