    Fresh Pear, Cheese and Anchovy Salad

    Ingredients

    • 2 large pears
    • 1/4 cup soft process American cheese
    • 3 tablespoons cream cheese
    • 1 tablespoon anchovy paste
    • 1/4 teaspoon milk
    • 1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
    • Head lettuce
    • French dressing

    Instructions

    Cut pears into 1/4-inch lengthwise slices. Remove cores and seeds. Combine cheeses, anchovy paste, milk, and lemon juice. Spread 1 to 2 teaspoons on each pear slice. Arrange on head lettuce and serve with French dressing. Makes 4 servings.
