Layered Pepperoni Pizza Salad
Take a pizza, remove the crust, and you have a Layered Pepperoni Pizza Salad! Easy healthy recipes for entrees can now include your favorite pizza pie with a healthier crust alternative.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 2 ounces thinly sliced pepperoni, cut in half
- 4 cups lettuce, chopped
- 1 cup (1 medium) ripe tomato, chopped
- 2 cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup ripe olives, sliced
- 1/2 cup cheese-flavored croutons
Instructions
- In 10 inch skillet, brown ground beef (5 to 8 minutes); drain.
- In same skillet, stir in pizza sauce and pepperoni; continue cooking over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until meat mixture is heated through (2 to 3 minutes).
- In large bowl layer: 2 cups lettuce, tomato, 1 cup cheese, meat mixture, 2 cups lettuce, 1 cup cheese, olives, and croutons.
- Serve immediately.

2/5ths is just a little less than 1/2. But, more may be better!

What is 2/5 cup? I have never heard of that measurement. Can I use 2/3 cup of sauce instead or what measurement?
