Layered Sour Cream Dip Salad
Have an appetizer ready for your party tomorrow: make Layered Sour Cream Dip Salad! Healthy snack recipes don't have to take forever, just use your favorite sour cream dip as a salad layer.
Ingredients
- 4 cups mixed greens, torn
- 2 1/2 cups chicken, cooked and chopped
- 2 small tomatoes, cut in thin wedges
- 1 to 10 ounce package frozen kernel corn or peas, thawed
- 1/4 cup red onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 cup celery, sliced
- 1 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
- 8 ounces carton sour cream dip (jalapeno, avocado, bacon/horseradish or chive)
- 8 ounces package shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup radishes, sliced
Instructions
- In a large, clear glass salad bowl (with straight sides and a flat bottom), layer the torn mixed greens, chicken, tomatoes, corn or peas, red onion and sliced celery.
- For dressing, in a small mixing bowl combine mayonnaise or salad dressing, and sour cream dip. Stir until well blended.
- Spread dressing over top of the salad.
- Cover and chill up to 24 hours.
- To serve, sprinkle with shredded Cheese and garnish with radish slices.
