Marshmallow Fruit Salad
Fresh fruit salad recipes are a definite staple to summertime. A twist on an old favorite is the Marshmallow Fruit Salad. A little sweet and tangy, the contrasting flavors blend together for a fun treat.

Tastes best if made the night before.
Ingredients
- 1 pound bag miniature marshmallows
- 2 cups broken pecans (optional)
- 10 ounces jar maraschino cherries, well drained, cut
- 1 pound can pineapple chunks, well drained
- 7 ounces flaked coconut, optional
- 10 ounces can mandarin orange sections, well drained
- 2 cups sour cream
- 2/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Instructions
- Combine marshmallows, pecans, cherries, pineapples, coconut, mandarin oranges, sour cream, mayo and nutmeg together. Mix very well.
- Refrigerate covered at least 4 hours.
