This Shaved Asparagus Pesto Salad introduced me to a whole new world of salad enjoyment. I had never even thought of eating asparagus raw or heard of "shaving" it. The flavor and texture is great. Loved the homemade basil pesto recipe that accompanied the recipe. If you love salads as much as I do, you need to try this salad. I find myself making this for lunch several times a week, it is that good.
