Strawberry Pretzel Dessert Salad
Ingredients
- 2 cups pretzels, coarsely crushed
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup margarine, melted
- 8-oz pkg cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 9-oz tub Cool whip
- 2 3-oz boxes strawberry Jello
- 2 10-oz boxes frozen strawberries
- 2 cups boiling water
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350=B0. Combine the pretzels, 1/2 cup sugar and margarine. Press into a 9x13 pan and bake for 10 minutes. Cool. Combine the cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, and Cool whip. Spread over the pretzel mixture. Dissolve the Jello in the boiling water. Add the frozen strawberries and refrigerate until almost set. When thickened, but not completely set, spread over the cream cheese layer. Refrigerate several hours before serving.
