Salsa Verde
Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh tomatillos, husked
- 1 onion
- 1 jalapeno or 2 serrano chilis
- 2 tb cilantro, minced
- 2 md garlic cloves
- 1/2 ts honey
Instructions
Simmer tomatillos in water to cover for 3 minutes. Drain, then coarsely chop with all remaining ingredients in a food processor or blender. Just before serving, thin with water to sauce-like consistency, if necessary. Yields 2 cups.
