Apple Dumpling Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup red cinnamon candies
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Instructions
In medium saucepan, combine all sauce ingredients. Bring mixture to a full rolling boil, stirring occasionally. Pour sauce in pan evenly around dumplings and bake according to recipe.
