Banana Surprise

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas (peeled and cut into large chunks)
  • 50 grammes unsalted butter
  • 50 grammes brown sugar
  • 1/2 pint of double cream

Instructions

Melt the butter in a pan and add the bananas. Simmer for 5 minutes and add the sugar. Allow the sugar to dissolve and form a dark caramel with the butter then add the double cream. Cook out for a further 2-3 minutes until the cream is combined with the caramel then serve hot with cold ice cream.
