Hard Sauce for Plum Pudding or Hot Mince Meat Pie

Ingredients

  • 16 Tbsp. butter (1 cup)
  • 2 cup powdered sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. boiling water
  • 1-2 Tsp. vanilla
  • 3-4 Tbsp. Brandy

Instructions

Cream butter - add 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 1 Tbsp. boiling water. Beat. Add rest of sugar and water. Beat til light. Stir in flavoring. Refrigerate and serve on Hot Plum Pudding or pie.
