Japanese Ginger Dipping Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon rice wine vinegar or white wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • Hot pepper sauce to taste
  • 1 tablespoon freshly minced gingerroot
  • 2 teaspoon thinly sliced scallion

Instructions

Combine soy sauce, vinegar, sugar and hot sauce in small bowl; stir until sugar dissolves. Stir in gingerroot and scallion. Set aside to allow flavors to develop. Yield 3/4 cup
