Michigan Hot Dog Sauce
If you want to try something different than your average hot dog sauce, you're in luck. This hot dog sauce recipe comes straight from Michigan and its interesting ingredients include V-8 juice, ketchup and minced garlic.
Notes
- I usually add some water to it if it dries out too fast to keep it moist.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 can V-8 juice (8-12-ounces)
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 to 2 tablespoons dry mustard
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon pepper
- 2 1/2 to 3 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon plus 1 tsp minced garlic
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients in skillet and cook together, the longer the better.
