Simple Coney Island Hot Dog Sauce
The name says it all, this hot dog sauce is similar to the kind they serve at Coney Island restaurants and it's also very simple. With three easy steps, cooking the hot dogs might just be your hardest task for this meal.
Ingredients
- olive oil
- 3 large yellow onions, cut in half moons
- Worcestershire sauce, to taste
- 1 small can tomato sauce, or comparable amount of ketchup
- Hot sauce, to taste
Instructions
- Coat a frying pan with olive oil; add onions to pan plus Worcestershire sauce.
- Cook until onions are clear, but not brown.
- Add tomato sauce and hot sauce and heat.
