Taco Puff Pie
Put a fun twist on taco night with this super easy ground beef casserole recipe. Taco Puff Pie has all the flavors of your favorite taco, but baked into a crescent roll ring! Simply roll out the dough, fill it with taco fillings, and bake. In no time, you'll be enjoying a delicious dinner the whole family will love. Notes
You can also fill the dough with pizza sauce, mozzarella, and pizza toppings. Or you can use pot pie fillings.

Ingredients
- 2 cans crescent rolls
- 1 can refried beans
- 1 pound ground beef, browned, drained and rinsed
- salt
- pepper
- garlic powder
- 1 jar chunky salsa or picante sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- chili powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Separate the crescent pastry and lay out in a circle, pointed ends out, on a foil lined pizza pan. Use some of the leftover crescent rolls to to make the center a bit thicker as this will hold the meat, and leave room at the ends to fold the dough over.
- Season ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Spread refried beans along bottom of dough. Top with browned ground beef, then pour salsa over. Add cheddar and mozzarella cheeses. Wrap dough around top and tuck in the center, sealing together with moistened fingers. Sprinkle with chili powder.
- Bake 25 minutes or until golden brown.
