Make Ahead Angel Biscuits

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- pinch baking soda
- 1/8 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 1 package dry yeast
- 1 cup buttermilk
Instructions

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Set aside.

Mix dry ingredients in order and cut in shortening.

Stir in buttermilk and dissolved yeast. Blend thoroughly. Dough can be refrigerated in a covered bowl for up to 3 days.

Knead dough lightly on a floured board or surface. Roll out and cut with biscuit cutter.

Place biscuits on greased baking sheet. Let rise slightly.
